Trish Keenan's success has come largely from her ability to distill the objectives for web-based initiatives at the outset of each project and then drive every aspect of design and development towards attaining these goals. Keenan earned a BA (Fine Arts) from Bard College in 1991. She spent the next several years with New York-based marketing firm, Kanney Enterprises, Inc. (The GreenWorld Project). As general manager, Keenan opened new markets for the firm through the expansion and tailoring of product lines. In 1996, Trish Keenan founded Growing Design, Inc. and provided design and marketing services in the region of southern Vermont. Early web site projects proved a rewarding challenge to both intellect and creativity, inspiring a new direction for the company. Web design and development became the focus when Keenan received her MS in Strategic Technology Management from Marlboro College in 1998. Growing Design soon grew from a solo adventure to a team of designers and developers. In its seven years of operation, Growing Design consistently helped clients achieve their online objectives through successful strategy development and implementation. Since relocating to Cambridge, MA in 2003, Keenan has managed and developed web sites for the Cambridge Public Schools and a select group of clients. She received certification in Advanced ColdFusion Development in 2004 and has since developed custom applications including curriculum development and grade reporting tools.
